JAMES CRITCHLEY
Managing director and founder

Despite spending summer breaks sailing to the med by dinghy and driving to Morocco by tractor, James has established two successful businesses by his 32nd birthday. After graduating with a BSc in Economics, he launched a successful winter sports travel company. While marketing the business he became interested in digital, teaching himself HTML to build a website while recovering from a snowboarding accident. A few years later he joined Ogilvy Interactive and while running the Ford digital account he spotted the opportunity for mobile to deliver accountability and better response management to above the line advertising.

He left in 2001 to set up Ad.IQ and successfully persuaded ex-colleagues Antony, Irfan, Paul, Peter and even ex-boss Tim to come on board. Today, he describes his role as a 'drifting resource', on hand to help out with people, products and problems.
